BIO

Pablo Salazar is a composer and pianist based in Washington, DC, and serves as the Program Director and Producer for SiriusXM’s Symphony Hall, SiriusXM Pops, and all classical music channels across the platform.

He studied piano and composition at the University of Maryland and the European American Musical Alliance in Paris, where he trained with noted composers including Cleaveland Page, Lawrence Moss, Robert Gibson, and Michel Merlet.

Pablo’s creative focus centers on collaboration—many of his projects bring together dancers and improvising musicians, exploring the space where structure meets spontaneity.

Pablo’s score is gorgeous—expressive, layered, thoughtful, dramatic. Executed at a high skill level, it expresses trauma with both exaggeration and grace.
